JHN RDN + IAN ST. LAURENT
(HANDS & KNEES, PHILADELPHIA)
Inspired by the wanton writings of Bret Easton Ellis, in 2009 a new indie-electro dance party called "Disappear Here" formed in the sultry depths of Angels & Kings. Featuring the latest underground music by fresh, talented producers and DJs with the occasional celebrity thrown in for sacrifice, "Disappear Here" was known for it's young riotous energy.
From transforming the venue into a massive slumber party pillow fight with guest DJs SHE WANTS REVENGE, to an 8ft tall dancing robot, to packed surprise live performances, to a two floor packed LOLLAPALOOZA Launch Party featuring DANNY MASTERSON "Disappear Here" never failed to surprise.
On Thursday, June 2nd - DISAPPEAR HERE returns featuring the DJs from Philadelphia's most debaucherous dance party HANDS & KNEES - JHN RDN & Ian St. Laurent.
What began in 2004 as a experimental event quickly became recognized by music magazines and bloggers as one of the best indie dance parties in the country. After becoming a staple in Philadelphia nightlife, the party expanded to Miami and New York.
After much success JHN RDN opened his own nightclub in Philly called The Barbary and was the father of the legendary electro party LIVE FOREVER, which gave birth to the world-renowned electronic dance act Designer Drugs.
Collectively, JHN RDN and St. Laurent have also played major indie-electro parties all around the country, such as "Misshapes" in New York City, "The Blow Up" in San Francisco, LA and Hawaii. The duo has also shared the stage with artists such as The Cure, Iggy Pop, De La Soul, Busy P, Peaches, MSTRKRFT, Midnight Conspiracy and more.
RSVP and reserve your table now for what will be an exclusive and memorable reunion.
