Inspired by the wanton writings of Bret Easton Ellis, in 2009 a new indie-electro dance party called "Disappear Here" formed in the sultry depths of Angels & Kings. Featuring the latest underground music by fresh, talented producers and DJs with the occasional celebrity thrown in for sacrifice, "Disappear Here" was known for it's young riotous energy.
From transforming the venue into a massive slumber party pillow fight with guest DJs SHE WANTS REVENGE, to packed surprise live performances, to a two floor packed LOLLAPALOOZA Launch Party featuring DANNY MASTERSON – "Disappear Here" never failed to surprise.
GHOSTHOUSE is an ElectroFunk duo from Chicago, most recently said to be “giving Chromeo a run for their money” by UR Chicago Magazine. Distinguishing themselves as a hybrid of current dance and classic funk hits with their own quintessential throwback cool, Ghosthouse has a sound that reverberates every cell of your body and implements a dress code to your dance music. College roommates Jimmy Con and Chuck New are seven years deep into collaborating on multiple projects. Jimmy Con, a Detroit born producer and lyricist, found his style listening to electro while keeping an ear on pop music and anything 80s. Singer/Keyboardist Chuck New draws his roots from classic R&B and Soul while inspired by synth legends. The combination gives you what you need in the club and what you want in the bedroom. Add to the mix their presence on stage and ability to move a crowd, Ghosthouse throws the party where everybody gets down.
HEAVEN MALONE is a resident DJ at Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz's rocker bar Angels & Kings. Located inside The Hard Rock Hotel in downtown Chicago, this notoriously decadent Bret Easton Ellis inspired party is justly called "Disappear Here". Disappear Here features up & coming DJs & producers along with the occasional celebrity up for sacrifice. Heaven also maintains a residency at Die Tonight at Beauty Bar, where every month it's Halloween. Die Tonight has seen it's fair share of zombies and beach babes, meat cleavers and swimming pools, superheroes and sleepovers with professional movie makeup artists to cover them with gore and blood. Heaven currently runs The Black Lodge VIP Room, a super exclusive party, hidden deep inside The House of Blues Chicago.
GRAHAM GEREN is a founding member & producer of Lollapalooza 2011 artist, Midnight Conspiracy. With Midnight Conspiracy, Geren produced tracks from Crystal Castles, Chromeo, Esser, Lucky Date and several originals. Geren has been making moves since his arrival in Chicago from his native Milwaukee 5 years ago with his electro dance group La Dolce Vita with Andy Holbrook, releasing remixes for Shiny Toy Guns, The Faint, Innerpartsystem & more. Currently, Geren has joined forces with Chess Hubbard of Moneypenny for his latest project CENOB1TE.
ANDY HOLBROOK is a founding member of La Dolce Vita with Graham Geren. Originally from Milwuakee, Holbrook moved to Chicago making electro mixes with Shiny Toy Guns, Kill Hannah, The Faint, Passion Pit. His latest solo project, DISRUPT THE SCENE, has Andy banging out tracks for Treasure Fingers, Deluka, Trash Yourself, & Skrillex.
